Big props to my (David's) mom (Tina)! She was diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of 2006, went through all the misery of chemo and radiation throughout 2007, and received a clean bill of health at the end of 2007. The difficult thing is to continue to have follow-up appointments and hope that nothing is there. We serve a gracious God and we are grateful how He has seen mom through this difficult and stressful time. To celebrate her clean bill of health, dad, mom, and I walked in the Susan G. Komen "Race for the Cure." As a survivor, mom wore a pink shirt and we joined 50,000 other folks in DC for a leisurely (and hot) stroll. We love you mom!!
