We had the absolute joy of welcoming our second daughter into the world this evening at 7:39 PM. She weighed 8 pounds 2 ounces and measured 20 1/2 inches. Mindy gave it her all in having a VBAC, but it was not meant to be. She pushed for about 2 1/2 hours until they lost the baby's heartbeat for a little bit and when they found it was lower than they would have liked, so off to OR. As we learned with Jocelyn, we are just thrilled to have a healthy vibrant baby regardless of how she arrived.

Congrats! She is beautiful, and I love her name. Hope you all have a smooth transition into being a family of four.
Yayyy! Congratulations Mindy and David. We will be praying for this transition from one to two. Dave, drink lots and lots of coffee (and vodka too), just kidding. no not really. Mindy, let Dave do all the laundry and cooking and cleaning. ha ha. love lots. we love you, jessel for the newton clan.
