Jocelyn Elise entered this world at 7:28 PM on 11/6. She weighed in at 8 pounds 14.5 ounces and measured 21 inches. She has a full head of hair which is a total riot.
All told labor lasted about 19 hours with about 5 of those hours dedicated to pushing. Mindy was truly amazing and such a fighter and I have never been prouder of her.
Mom and baby are in good health. Jocelyn has quite a pair of lungs on her and she is not afraid to do a little screaming. Everyone is exhausted and it is time for bed. We probably will not post anything for another day or so. We are humbled by everyone's prayers and support and we can not thank each of you enough.
Mom and baby will be home on Friday.

Congratulations! We are so happy for you and hope you are able to get some rest and have some wonderful bonding time as a new family. Pleast post when you are ready for visitors--whether in the hospital or at home.

Congratulations you guys. Go Mindy, we're proud of you for the incredible effort you endured in labor. Dave, get ready for 2 crying females in your home soon. ha ha. (you know post-pregnancy weepiness is totally normal). This will be one of the GREATEST JOYS and GREATEST CHALLENGES you'll face: parenthood! Welcome to the club. We will be praying for you guys at this time of transition. We love you!
